I trust in your unfailing love

I have been thinking of the following passage a lot over the last week:
Psalm 13
For the director of music. A psalm of David.
1 How long, O LORD ? Will you forget me forever?
How long will you hide your face from me?2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts
and every day have sorrow in my heart?
How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer, O LORD my God.
Give light to my eyes, or I will sleep in death;
4 my enemy will say, "I have overcome him,"
and my foes will rejoice when I fall.
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.6 I will sing to the LORD,
for he has been good to me.

It has been the last two verses that I have found myself eager to sing. "I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord for he has been good to me." I wouldn't say that I am in the same place that the first four verses speak about, but the last section of this passage has been reminding me of how faithful God is. Although this is a stressful time of the semester, I know that my God is faithful. I know that he can give me strength for the day. My God has not forogtten me and He does show himself when I seek him. He knows my thoughts. I call and he answers! His faithfulness is my strength for the day.
